Winter has arrived and it's time to look at how was Vintage 2023 for Enfant Terrible.

Let's look at how McLaren Vale fared first.

With the mild, wet summer it was a slow start for McLaren Vale. We had 88mm of rain in Jan, which topped the vines up nicely and stopped them from going into stress or dropping their leaves and going to sleep.

Our beautiful South Australian climate, a bit like the Mediterranean, produced a difficult harvest year but it's not all doom and gloom.

We had average yields (which is high compared to the last few shockers we've had) due to rain, and some disease pressure (especially downy mildew). Over supply of reds from the big 2022 vintage meant stock in tank was high.

This means Naked Angels will benefit from wines at outstanding value! Our top tip is to stock up on this release as there won't be much around and they'll be kind to your bank balance!

Cheers - Jp
